    Special Newborn Care Unit

    SNCU (Special Newborn Care Unit) project is the joint venture of UNICEF and the State Government to protect Newborn Babies by providing specialized care after birth and till the neonatal period, especially to reduce the mortality of sick neonates. Special Newborn Care units are established at District level, these units are connected to this Web Application hence to the central database

    Salient features of web application:

    • Vital basic information (Address and Mobile No. etc.) of admitted newborns.

    • Detailed information of admitted neonates and their mothers.

    • Outcome and Treatment Profile.

    • Strong community and facility follow-up tracking system.

    • Reports and analytical graphs on 250+ parameters.

    • County, State, and District level users.

    This portal contains the largest database of newborn babies for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Department. The size of the application is grown in just 3 years. To date it contains almost 0.5 million newborn babies’ records and their analytical data, this is the largest data of newborn babies in the world.

    SNCU is running for 233 districts in 7 states of India. It has automated 40% of SNCUs and is targeted to automate 750 SNCUs in India.

    SNCU Online Application was developed by UNICEF for Madhya Pradesh state government and scaled up by the Government of India to deploy it in all other states. Soon it is expected to be deployed in other Asian countries.

    TIMS (Telecom Infrastructure Management Systems)

    TIMS is the Powertech product software. It is an End to End Suit of Web-based Telecom Infrastructure Solutions for all the Telecom Infra Service Providers. TIMS acts as a key facilitator in Monitoring, Managing, Tracking, and Reporting on the complete processes related to site operations & maintenance and in processing billing processes (DC Energy usage) for Service Providers.

    TIMS Products include Hardware boxes as well as a software application server. TIMS is developed on Java and its open-source environment. It supports OLTP transactions that process 1.4 GB of data per day. High-end Packet Gateway is developed to perform OLTP.

    Vehicle Tracking System

    VTS is a complete solution for vehicle tracking, real-time monitoring, and analytical reports. VTS is a new system, where your vehicle can go anywhere except out of sight. VTS lets you see exactly where your cargo is whenever you need to. Fleet Tracking System is an efficient system for tracking and monitoring of commercial and passenger vehicles.

    VTS is a web-based application running at centralized server and connected with Vehicles through GPRS system. Application receives vehicle’s position; speed, distance traveled, duration of each halt and other parameters from GPS enabled Vehicles and shows their positions through GIS Map. This information can then be accessed from a central location through a website or a mobile phone.

    VTS produces many analytical reports and integrates customized reports. VTS provides the following benefits:

    • Optimizes fuel costs with better route planning, cuts down on overtime, and increases operational efficiency.

    • Real-time alerts on deviation of the vehicle from the predefined route schedule, overspeeding, fuel thefts, temperature monitoring, etc.

    • Vehicle can be located on a GIS map nationwide.

    • Recording and sorting of up to 2000 positioning locations, route traveled speed, and other parameters.

    • The ability to set waypoint rules to alert a vehicle when entering, stopping for an unusually long time & does not enter within a predefined time span.

    • Thermal sensor, to provide instant alerts for high and low temperatures in a thermal-sensitive cargo.

    • Tracking of mileage through GPS.

    Outlet Infrastructure Management, Domino's, Jubilant Foodworks

    OIM is the enterprise application for live monitoring and maintenance of assets of Domino’s and Dunkin Donuts outlets all over India. OIM manages inventory and generates schedule for their regular maintenance. Technician will feed maintenance activity details in the system. There are about 800 outlets of JFL all across India. Outlet assets like AC, DG, DG Fuel, Battery etc send their live status to Packet Gateway server in every 3-4 minutes. These are monitored centrally and controlled. Live hardware status is sent as a string with the help of Model over GPRS connectivity. Outlets are grouped into Districts, States, and Zones. Head office got 4 Zones in India and Zone has multiple States, State has multiple Districts and A District has multiple outlets. The whole system is managed by Manager, Assistant Managers, Supervisors, Storekeepers, and GPM. Outlet has inventory items like AC, Diesel Engine, Door sensor, etc those are connected through a Modem and send live status to server Packet Gateway that pushes it to Database so that they can be monitored centrally.
