SNCU (Special Newborn Care Unit) project is the joint venture of UNICEF and State Government to protect Newborn Babies by providing specialized care after birth and till the neonatal period, especially to reduce the mortality of sick neonates. Special Newborn Care units are established at District level, these units are connected to this Web Application hence to the central database.

This portal contains the largest database of newborn babies for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Department. This size of application is grown in just 3 years. Till date it contains almost 0.3 million newborn babies’ records and their analytical data.
SNCU is running for 233 districts in 7 states of India. It has automated 40% of SNCUs and targeted to automate total 750 SNCUs in India by 2015.
SNCU Online Application was developed by UNICEF for Madhya Pradesh state government and scaled up by Government of India to deploy it in all other states. Soon it is expected to be deployed in other Asian countries.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India launched the Janani–Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK), a national initiative to make available better health facilities for women and children.
The new initiative of JSSK would provide completely free and cashless services to pregnant women including normal deliveries and caesarean operations and sick newborn (up to 30 days after birth) in Government health institutions in both rural and urban areas. The new JSSK initiative is estimated to benefit more than one crore pregnant women & newborns that access public health institutions every year in both urban & rural areas. Call center application keeps track of vehicles carry the pregnant women and keeps the track of their feedback.

OIM is the enterprise application for live monitoring and maintenance of assets of Domino’s and Dunkin Donuts outlets all over India. OIM manages inventory and generates schedule for their regular maintenance. Technician will feed maintenance activity details in the system. There are about 800 outlets of JFL all across India. Outlet assets like AC, DG, DG Fuel, Battery etc send their live status to Packet Gateway server in every 3-4 minutes. These are monitored centrally and controlled. Live hardware status is sent as string with the help of Model over GPRS connectivity. Outlets are grouped into Districts, State, and Zones. Head office got 4 Zones in India and Zone has multiple States, State has multiple Districts and A District has multiple outlets. The whole system is managed by Manager, Assistant Managers, Supervisor, Storekeepers and GPM. Outlet has inventory items like AC, Diesel Engine, Door sensor etc those are connected through a Modem and sends live status to server Packet Gateway that pushes it to Database so that they can be monitored centrally.
